Midmorning Crash Snarls Traffic In Chatsworth

CHATSWORTH, CA — A mid morning crash snarled traffic along the 118 freeway in Chatsworth this morning.

First reported at just after 9:30 this morning. the multivehicle collision occurred near the Tampa Avenue offramp, leaving at least one vehicle overturned, according to reports from the scene.

The overturned sedan in lane number four was blocking traffic while those involved awaited the arrival of a tow truck a CHP incident log said.

As of press time, it was not known how long the lane would remain closed for or if any injuries were reported.
