New Restaurant Coming to Chatsworth

They say Denny's never closes, well this one did.

If you've been driving past the former Denny's restaurant in Chatsworth wondering what might go in there after months of vacancy, there's now an answer.

Lone Star Burger Ranch, a family-owned, non-franchise gourmet burger place will be opening in the iconic building at 20419 Devonshire St. according to a neighboring shop owner.

Workers have gutted the interior, placed three air conditioning units on the roof, and are transforming the former Grand Slam emporium. And owners have even taken out a trademark on the new name.

But if you've been around for a while, you'll remember that Love's Barbecue, known for their baked beans, once occupied the building. And later there was Scoby's with their famous fried chicken.
