Hero's job: Business

Relationship to nominee: She is my mother

Reason for recognition:My mom is a RN who also is a fashion designer. When she heard there was a mask shortage within our hospitals and first responders, she immediately jumped into action and put both of her skillsets together and started sewing fabric face masks. I’m so proud

One thing to know: My mom life’s work and mission are for cultural representation, being a role model and supporting her community through donating and other forms of activism. She is one of the most giving people I know. She is always thinking how she can uplift others.
