Pedestrian Victim ID'ed In Metrolink Crash

Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal Metrolink collision Thursday in Northridge.

NORTHRIDGE, CA —Authorities Friday identified a pedestrian who was struck and killed by a Metrolink train in the Northridge area.

The Ventura County Line 102 train was heading toward downtown Los Angeles about 6:40 a.m. Thursday near the 8600 block of Lindley Avenue when it hit 64-year-old Dominic Muzsnai, who died at the scene, according to Metrolink and the Los Angeles Police Department.

The circumstances of the Northridge resident's death were under investigation.
