Police Chase Of Burglary Suspects Along Ventura Blvd. Ends In Crash
One California Highway Patrol officer was injured in the Tarzana crash, and four suspects were taken into custody.
LOS ANGELES, CA — A police chase in the San Fernando Valley ended in a crash, injuries and the arrests of four burglary suspects Thursday morning.
The crash occurred at the end of a police chase in Tarzana, and one California Highway Patrol officer was treated at the scene by paramedics, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.
The Los Angeles Police Department and firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene in the 5400 block of North Corbin Avenue at about 11:18 a.m., said LAPD Officer Jader Chaves.

The pursuit headed on eastbound Ventura Boulevard from Shoup Avenue, said Chaves. Officers were following a vehicle full of residential burglary suspects, he told Patch. Following the crash, four suspects were arrested, he added.
In addition to the injured CHP officer, an ambulance was called for a 35-year-old man, suffering from a back injury, Chaves said.

Police have not identified additional information about the suspects and the burglary report that led to the chase.
