Porter Ranch Man Pleads Guilty to Insurance Fraud

Charles Saab is scheduled to be sentenced June 6.

Charles Saab, 40, of Porter Ranch, pleaded guilty Thursday to felony insurance fraud.

He was charged with defrauding an insurer, a felony, and filing a false police report, a misdemeanor, Ventura County prosecutors said in a statement.

Saab was arrested after a Simi Valley police detective found a motorcycle at Saab's home that the Porter Ranch man had previously reported stolen, prosecutors told the Ventura Star.
