Public Hearing Tuesday on Plans for Aliso Canyon Gas Storage Facility
California Public Utilities Commission meeting will be 6 p.m. at the Northridge Women's Club.
The California Public Utilities Commission will hold a public hearing Tuesday evening on an application by Southern California Gas Co. to expand its in the hills above Chatsworth and Porter Ranch.
The hearing will be 6 p.m. at the Northridge Women's Club, 18401 Lassen St.
Residents opposing the proposed expansion contend the utility company is not conforming to fire codes while operating the storage facility in a high-risk fire area.
