SigAlert: 5/405 Transition Closed In Mission Hills
The California Highway Patrol shut down the southbound transition road, and issued a SigAlert.
LOS ANGELES, CA — A big rig spun out on the southbound Golden State (5) Freeway and southbound San Diego (405) Freeway transition in Mission Hills, triggering a SigAlert expected to last several hours.
The California Highway Patrol shut down the transition road shortly after 12:30 p.m. and issued a SigAlert, closing the truck route. The SigAlert was extended for another three hours shortly after 3 p.m.
Witnesses reported a FedEx big rig came to rest facing the wrong way while blocking the left lane.
