VIDEO: This Weekend Everyone's Greek

Conditions may be glum in Greece right now, but you'd never know it here as thousands swarmed the 39th annual Valley Greek Festival Saturday at the in Northridge.

The weather was cool and the music was hot as traditional Greek food was served from dozens of booths, and crafts, clothing and souvenirs were sold at others. Beer flowed for those over 21, but youngsters of all ages abounded, socializing and enjoying Greek music, dance, food, culture, games, booths and more.

This San Fernando Valley tradition runs from 1 to 9 p.m. through Monday.
