A woman was shot in the thigh in Northridge early Tuesday morning, police said.
The woman, who is about 30, was shot on Parthenia Street east of Tampa Avenue around 3:40 a.m. and transported to a hospital in stable condition, said Sgt. Doug Humphrey of the Los Angeles Police Department's Devonshire Station.
No suspect information was immediately released. Police are investigating the possibility that the shooting was gang-related.
