Why uproot or chop down unwanted trees when you can have art instead?

Mariecar Mendoza reports in the Daily News that David Walit of Porter Ranch struck upon that idea after calling around for a tree removal service.

"Why have nothing when you can have something?" asked Stacy Poitras of Calabasas, adding that the phrase is the motto for his business, Agoura Hills-based Deadwood Tree Sculptures.

And so, Poitras set to work.
