7 DUI Arrests During The Holidays In This Marin County Town

NOVATO, CA — Starting the day before Thanksgiving and heading into the weekend, there were seven DUI arrests, four other alcohol-related arrests and two DUI collisions in Novato, police said.
On Nov. 26, Novato Police Department officers working a DUI patrol said they stopped Cesar Caro, a 45-year-old Novato resident, after observing him driving in an unsafe manner near San Ramon Elementary School. He was arrested for DUI, police said.
On that same day, officers said they pulled over a swerving car near Atherton Avenue. Christopher Martinez, a 32-year-old Santa Rosa resident, was arrested for DUI.

Still on Wednesday, officers said they responded to a solo-vehicle rollover collision on Nave Drive near Roblar Drive. Andres Marroquin, a 26-year-old Corte Madera resident, was arrested for DUI.
On Thanksgiving, officers said Lindsey Vriavas, a 45-year-old Novato resident, collided with a sign at a gas station on S Novato Boulevard. She was arrested for DUI.

Later on Turkey Day, officers said 26-year-old Dulce Arvizu Olivera, a San Pablo resident, was pulled over near Entrada Drive and was arrested for DUI.
On Saturday, officers said they responded to a car crash on the 1600 block of Center Road. While conducting traffic control, an uninvolved driver, 55-year-old Novato resident Annmarie Milos, tried to drive through the road closure. She was arrested for DUI.
And to round out the weekend, officers said they pulled over 38-year-old Vallejo resident Rubi Guillen Tun and arrested her for DUI.
"This weekend is a reminder: impaired driving puts everyone at risk. Please plan ahead, never drink and drive, and help keep Novato safe," police said.
