Annual Rummage Sale Returns To Church In Marin County

The rummage sale draws thousands of people each year for the multi-day event.

NOVATO, CA — A church in Novato has announced it will once again hold its annual rummage sale Thursday through Sunday.

The St. Anthony of Padua Church located at 1000 Cambridge St. in Novato returns for its 36th year to offer shoppers men’s and women’s clothing, jewelry, home décor, framed artwork, sporting goods, garden goods, plants, wicker, outdoor furniture, glassware, appliances, houseware and more.

“I am excited to announce that our annual rummage sale will continue as usual in spite of having been vandalized a few weeks ago,” said John Halapoff, a volunteer with the church. “As in past years, thousands of people are expected to come. We will be helping those in our community who are experiencing hardships and will give them the opportunity to get much needed goods at a reasonable price. Proceeds will also be donated to other charities right here in Novato. We are looking forward to seeing you there.”
