Burglary Suspect Arrested Near School Baseball Field
According to police, school staffers reported a suspicious man peering into car windows.

NOVATO, CA — A man was arrested Friday in Novato after people reported a suspicious person looking in car windows near Olive Elementary School, according to police.
Officers found a man matching the description near the school baseball field, and investigators said he refused to identify himself. Police said he appeared agitated and could not explain what he was doing in the area.
Further investigation revealed the man was carrying burglary tools and a knife, along with checks that did not belong to him. Police said the man also had a bicycle they recognized as reported stolen earlier in the day.

Officers arrested the man and booked him into the Marin County Jail on suspicion of possession of burglary tools, a weapon and stolen property. Police said the suspect also had multiple warrants out for his arrest.
