Novato High’s slugging outfielder homered and knocked in two runs, extending his season-opening hitting streak to seven games in Tuesday's 5-3 Marin County Athletic League victory over Tamalpais.
Bartram is batting .519 (14 for 27) with seven extra-base hits. He went deep for the first time since he went 4 for 4 with a homer and two triples and six RBI in the team’s season opener, an 11-0 nonleague victory over Hercules on Feb. 17.
