Downed Novato Power Lines Trigger Shelter Orders, Outage (Updated)

NOVATO, CA — Shelter orders were issued for a Novato neighborhood and a road remains closed in the area after a tree downed power lines, police said.

McClay Road between Saddlebrook Court and Chardonnay Lane will remain closed until around 8 a.m. Thursday, Novato police said.

An update will be provided once the area is deemed safe, police said.
