Flooding In Novato Closes Multiple Roads
The City issued a list of 5 roads closed Sunday afternoon.

NOVATO, CA — Novato police said at 1:35 p.m. Sunday that lower-lying areas in the city are flooding.
They ask people to stay home and avoid unnecessary travel.
City road closures Sunday afternoon include:
- The area of Cherry Street and Armstrong Avenue, including both entrances to the mobile home park.
- Lauren Avenue at South Novato Boulevard.
- Garden Court at South Novato Boulevard.
- Joan Avenue at South Novato Boulevard.
- Lamont Avenue at Alice Street.
Police say free, self-serve sandbags and sand are available at 550 Davidson Avenue. Residents should bring their own shovels and gloves. The limit is 10 sandbags per household, first come first serve. For more information, go to novato.org/sandbags.
