Hardware Store Theft In Marin County, 2 Suspects Arrested: Police
Officers were alerted to a social media post by the hardware store that included photos and video claiming to be the suspects, police said.
NOVATO, CA — Officers arrested a woman accused of stealing items from a hardware store in Novato after someone saw the suspect on July 11 at another shopping center, police said.
On July 8, Pini Hardware posted on Facebook that someone had stolen flashlights and a Yeti soft cooler lunch bag from their store.
On July 11, someone called the Novato Police Dispatch to inform them that the suspect seen in the post was at another Novato shopping center, police said.

Officers said they responded and identified Shannon Meehan, 42, as the suspect. She was arrested for active warrants out of Sonoma County, possessing stolen property from Pini Hardware and charges for theft, police said.
