Keeley Wright Leads San Marin To 12th Straight Win

Keeley Wright was among four Mustangs players to reach double figures Tuesday in a 62-46 MCAL victory over Terra Linda.

NOVATO, CA — San Marin High standout Keeley Wright scored 13 points as the Mustangs extended their winning streak to 12 games Tuesday with a 62-46 Marin County Athletic League girls basketball victory over Terra Linda.

Wright also had six steals, five assists and four rebounds.

The junior guard was among four Mustangs players to reach double figures in scoring. Kate O’Hara had 12 points and Jenna Nottingham each added 10.

San Marin (12-2, 5-1 MCAL) is ranked No. 4 in MaxPreps’ most recent North Coast Section Division 3 poll. The Mustangs are ranked No. 15 overall in the NCS, No. 20 in Division 3 statewide and No. 98 in the state.

The Mustangs put their winning streak on the line Saturday at 4:30 p.m. when they play MCAL rival Tamalpais.

San Marin will look to exact a measure of revenge against Marin Catholic in a pivotal MCAL game Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Marin Catholic.

San Marin’s last setback was against Marin Catholic, 56-37 in a Nov. 30 MCAL game.
