Man Arrested After Suspicious Vehicle Report In Novato: Police
Police allege a Vallejo man was carrying burglary tools, drugs and a loaded gun when he was found in Novato Monday morning.

NOVATO, CA — A man was arrested on suspicion of multiple crimes Monday morning in Novato after a concerned resident called in a suspicious vehicle, according to police.
Patrol officers fielded the call around 4 a.m. near San Marin Drive and Santolina Drive, finding a vehicle partially blocking traffic with its hood open.
According to police, officers noticed drug paraphernalia in the vehicle while talking to the driver and asked the man to exit the vehicle. He initially refused, but was taken into custody after several minutes of coaxing, police said.

Inside the car, officers said they found drugs, burglary tools and a loaded gun with a high-capacity magazine. Police arrested the 23-year-old Vallejo man on suspicion of possessing burglary tools, having an unregistered firearm, drug possession and resisting arrest.
"We would like to thank our community for quickly notifying us of the suspicious vehicle," the department wrote on Facebook. "We are thankful our officers were able to safely intervene in this situation and potentially stop other crimes from occurring."
