Missing At-Risk Novato Man Found Safe (UPDATED)

NOVATO, CA — An at-risk Novato man who went missing Monday has been found safe, police said.

The Novato Police Department issued an alert at around 4:50 p.m. notifying the public that an at-risk 85-year-old man who suffers from dementia was found safe.

Police had issued an alert at around 3:05 p.m. asking for the public's help locating the man.

"Thank you to all the community members who assisted in locating Richarch Ebert," police said.

"He has been safely reunited with his family."
