Mount Burdell Controlled Burn Postponed
Air quality and hot, dry weather prompt officials to wait until later.
What happened to that scheduled for this week on ? It was postponed by the Marin County Open Space District and Marin County Fire Department.
County spokesman Matt Sagues said weather conditions and air quality requirements were not optimal for the burn, so the window of opportunity has been extended until the end of July.
Novato Patch will try to notify readers if and when the burn will happen. When it does, entry will be restricted to the Mount Burdell Open Space Preserve.
