This Marin County Farmers’ Market Returns In May

Fresh produce, artisan booths, and activities for kids are all available at the weekly Farmers' Market.

NOVATO, CA — The downtown Novato Farmers’ Market is coming back May 6 on Sherman Avenue.

The market will run from 4-8 p.m. every Tuesday on Sherman Avenue, between Grant and De Long Avenues, starting May 6 and ending October 28. In October, the hours will be from 4-7 p.m.

Local produce, prepared and packaged foods, artisan crafted goods and activities for kids will all be available.

There are many options to travel to the farmers’ market, which is located near the Novato Downtown SMART station and the Redwood Boulevard and Grant Avenue bus transit station.

Additionally, Redwood Bikeshare will now be serving Novato, providing e-bikes for rent to and from the market.

If visitors choose to drive their own cars, there are multiple parking options available.

  • City Administrative Offices Lot at 922 Machin Avenue.
  • City Administrative Offices Underground Lot at Cain Lane; after 5pm only.
  • Depot Lot at the Novato Downtown SMART Station.
  • Whole Foods Garage; Floor 2.
  • Woodside Office Center, Lower Lot at 7250 Redwood Blvd.

Market vendors can park in the Zenk lot between Sherman and Reichert Avenue with a valid parking pass. Anyone interested in becoming a vendor can contact info@ilovefarmersmarkets.org.
