Novato Pet Supply Company Acquires Rival Firm

NOVATO, CA — A Marin pet supply company has acquired a rival company.

Novato-based Worldwise last month acquired Pet Factory, a Mundelein, Illinois-based company.

Worldwise is a portfolio company of the A&M Capital platform.

Pet Factory, considered an innovative leader in pet chews, treats, toys, and accessories, was founded in 1989.

"We are a different business today than we were six months ago, thanks to the continued success of our M&A strategy in bolstering the Worldwise platform with innovative brands, products and production capabilities that meet the highest standards of both quality and safety," Worldwise CEO Kevin Fick said in a statement.
