A Pool In Marin County Will Be Opening Soon

An expanded aquatics program will be available this summer.

NOVATO, CA — The City of Novato announced the opening weekend of the Hamilton Community will be May 24 and it will offer an expanded swim lesson program.

On Tuesday, online registration will be open for aquatic programming to snag a spot in the highly anticipated swim lessons, which will now be conducted with instructors specifically trained in adaptive swim lessons for swimmers with autism, ADHD and anxiety, according to a press release. Individual and group classes are available.

Also, those registering can purchase a 15-visit punch pass and swim season passes, including a family or pair pass.

The City of Novato is also hiring more Hamilton Community Pool staff. For those interested, email novatofun@novato.org or visit novatojobs.org to apply.

In 2009, the City of Novato approved a $5.2 million renovation that turned the one large pool into a 4,500-square-foot pool for adults and a 2,100-square-foot wading pool complete with a water play structure with a slide and various water spray features.
