Novato Readies To Return Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony
The annual North Event started in 1928.
NOVATO, CA — The city of Novato is getting into the spirit of holiday season.
City officials this week announced Novato will hold its annual tree lighting ceremony next month, a North Bay tradition that began in 1928.
The ceremony will be held Dec. 4 from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at Sherman Avenue in the city’s downtown area.

The event will feature live entertainment, craft booths and children's activities.
