The project is scheduled to start Monday and is expected to be completed by mid-August, city officials said.
NOVATO, CA — Novato is readying for its annual street-paving project, and it could impact local traffic on streets throughout the city for next five weeks or so.

“The type of rehabilitation work will vary from scrub-seals and micro-surfacing to grinding/paving or recycled pavement options depending on the condition of the roadways,” city officials said.
“These projects will also upgrade pedestrian facilities to meet accessibility requirements and often include bike lane striping and traffic safety enhancements like crosswalks.”
