Novato Shooting Leaves 1 Hospitalized

NOVATO, CA — Two robbery suspects are being sought in connection with a shooting Wednesday night, the Novato Police Department said.

One adult victim was taken to a local trauma hospital and was in stable condition as of Thursday afternoon, police said. An additional adult victim was not injured.

Officers at approximately 10:40 p.m. responded to the 1300 block of Hamilton Parkway on the report of an assault involving a deadly weapon, police said.

Police did not reveal any additional information about the investigation, which they said is ongoing.

“The release of any further information would compromise the investigation,” police said in a statement.

“We will continue to provide updates on this case as it develops.”
