Novato To Shutter Virginia Ave. For Six Months
The closure will accommodate a traffic study, city officials said.
NOVATO, CA — The city of Novato later this year will temporarily close part of Virginia Avenue, officials said.
The closure is tentatively expected to start in December, city officials said.
Virginia Avenue between Simmons Lane to Grant Avenue will be closed to accommodate a traffic study.

This closure will not impact resident access, city officials said, noting that the street and all side streets will remain accessible to residents, emergency vehicles and deliveries.
