Novato Suspect Behind Knife Threats Arrested: Cops

NOVATO, CA — A 20-year-old Novato man who accused of threatening neighbors with a knife was arrested Monday night, The Marin Independent Journal Reports.

Raul Rodarte-Garcia was arrested on suspicion of felony threatening and battery of emergency personnel, among other charges, according to the report. He was booked into Marin County Jail.

Officers responded to the 1600 block of Merritt Drive on the report that Rodarte-Garcia made threats targeting the home’s occupants, the report said.

He is accused of pushing an officer to the ground, causing injuries, the report said.
