Want To Attend A Marin County Spectrum Safety Event?
The City of Novato will host the event specifically geared towards members of the adaptive needs community.
NOVATO, CA — The City of Novato will host the fourth annual Spectrum Safety Event from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at 950 Seventh Street and this year’s theme is out of this world.
The Novato Parks and Recreation department and Novato first responders invite members of the adaptive needs community to join an event specifically designed for people with physical or cognitive adaptive needs.
The event is aimed at connecting the adaptive needs community with first responders and valuable city and county resources. This year they will offer activities that are “out of this world” and attendees can take photos with friends from “a galaxy far, far away.”
The event will not include loud music, bright lights or overly stimulating sensory activities.
