Public Input Sought For Novato Blvd. Project

NOVATO, CA — The city of Novato is readying to break ground on a major transportation project and is asking for the public’s input before it moves forward.
The City Council approved a conceptual design for the Novato Boulevard Improvements Project in June.

The project is expected to take between cost between $10 million to $15 million, of which $12 million will be funded through Marin’s Measure A sales tax.
The project includes a new 3-lane layout for Novato Boulevard between Diablo and Grant avenues.

The city on Oct. 5 submitted an Environmental Impact Report on the project to the state.
The comment period is open through Jan. 14 at 3 p.m.
