Marin County ‘No Kings’ Protest Changes Time For Planned Counter Demonstration
The protest was originally scheduled earlier in the day.

SAN RAFAEL, CA — The originally scheduled time for the “No Kings” protest has changed and it will now take place later in the afternoon of June 14 in San Rafael.
Counters to a massive military parade in Washington D.C. on President Donald Trump’s birthday, are planned around the nation, and the Marin Democratic Party, also known as the Democratic Central Committee of Marin, have planned a “No Kings” protest that will now take place from noon to 1:30 p.m. at 1000 4th St. in San Rafael. It was originally scheduled for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
“Spending millions on self glorification while slashing essential programs for we the people is unconscionable,” the Marin Democratic Party stated.

A military parade that will take place on June 14 in Washington D.C. — the U.S. Army’s 250th anniversary — which is also Trump’s 79th birthday, according to a National Park Service permit application for the America 250 military parade.
At 6 p.m., the military parade said it will start at the Pentagon’s north parking lot and ultimately will disperse along Constitution Avenue to 15th Street in Washington D.C., according to the permit application.

There will be 6,600 soldiers and 150 military vehicles in the parade, the permit application stated.
America250.org, Inc., a U.S. semi-quincentennial commission nonprofit established to help plan commemorations of the 250th Anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, filed the application.
