NOVATO, CA — Sophomore standout Anthony Scheppler had three hits including a three-run homer and drove in four on the day as San Marin beat Kennedy of Fremont 10-0 in a North Coast Section Division 3 playoff game Tuesday that was mercy-ruled after five innings.
Scheppler is 4 for 8 with eight RBI over his last two games.
No. 7 seeded San Marin (16-8-1) is scheduled to play No. 2 Bishop O’Dowd (17-9) Thursday’s 5 p.m. NCS Division 3 playoff quarterfinal at Laney College.

John Holtz had three hits and Garrett Abell added two for the Mustangs in their third straight win.
Collin McGrath (4-1) struck out three and walked none in four innings of three-hit ball for the win.
