Suspect In Fatal Assault On Novato Man Charged With Murder: Report

The victim of the July 10 attack was identified as Adolfo Martinez Pena, 23 of Novato.

PETALUMA, CA — One of the two suspects arrested in connection with the fatal baseball bat beating of a Marin County man earlier this month in Petaluma has been charged with murder, The Press Democrat reports.

The Sonoma County District Attorney’s Office on Monday filed murder charges against 23-year-old Alejandro Sanchez, according to the report.

His twin brother, Luis Sanchez, was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon but has not been charged and was released from jail after posting bail, according to the report.
