Toy Drives In Novato: How To Make The Holidays Merry For Everyone

NOVATO, CA β While youβre checking off holiday gifts for family members, donβt forget the kids who arenβt on anyoneβs shopping list and pick up some items for toy drives in Novato.
One of the most well-known toy drives is the Toys for Tots campaign, led by the Marine Corps Reserves. Since 1947, Toys for Tots drives across the country have collected 708 million toys that were distributed to 314 million children.
Toys for Tots is organized locally by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Training Center San Bruno, CA.

Last year in Northern Caligfornia 46,493 toys were distributed to 33,305 children who might not otherwise have gotten any Christmas gifts

Holiday Share & Toy Drive - Novato
Join North Marin Community Services for their 53rd annual Holiday Share and Toy Drive, a treasured program serving over 300 children and families facing financial hardship in North Marin, made possible by generous community members. You can contribute by donating new, unwrapped gifts from a childβs wish list (available online) or gift cards ($25 or $50 for teens to Target, Ross, or Amazon), which can be dropped off at the 680 Wilson Ave. Center on various days between Friday, December 5th and Wednesday, December 10th (including an evening drop-off on the 10th), or mailed to their office. Volunteers are also needed and can find opportunities on their website, and all donors are asked to bring a completed Holiday Share Donation Form for an expedited drop-off, helping to lift up those in need and spread joy throughout the community.
Holiday Food and Toy Drive - Novato Chamber
The Center for Employment Opportunities is hosting a Holiday Food and Toy Drive to support families in their program working toward employment stability. This Toy and Coat Drive aims to provide gifts for their participants' children and warm coats for the winter, helping parents who are diligently rebuilding their lives. Donations of warm coats, new toys, or funds are welcomed to be a part of their mission to create meaningful change in the community. Liz and Megan's 11th Annual Toy Drive
Join The Village Italian Restaurant for their 11th Annual Holiday Toy Drive on Saturday, December 13th, from 12 PM to 3 PM at 1200 Grant Avenue in Novato. All new, unwrapped toys valued at $20 or more, or gift cards, will be donated directly to the Novato Fire Department Toy Program to help local families in need. Your donation will earn you a raffle ticket for a chance to win great prizes, or you can receive a raffle ticket by purchasing a specialty drink or food item, all while celebrating the upcoming completion of Liz's final chemo treatment!
Multicultural Center of Marin Toy Drive
The drive accepts unwrapped toys, books, and gift cards for Marin County children, ranging from newborns up to 17 years old. Drop-off is located at 709 5th Ave., San Rafael, CA. Adopt A Family of Marin β Holiday Program 2025
The Adopt-A-Family Holiday Program provides wish-lists of gift ideas for Marin County families, and donors "adopt" a family and are asked to purchase at least three gifts for each family member, along with a gift card for a local grocery store.
