Unvaxxed Marin Teacher Started School’s Delta Outbreak: Report
The teacher reportedly read out to the class while unmasked on several occasions according to the report.
MARIN COUNTY, CA — An unvaccinated teacher earlier this year started a COVID-19 delta variant outbreak at a Marin school according to a CDC study issued Friday, KRON reports.
The report didn’t identify the school or its location, but KRON earlier this year reported an outbreak occurred at a Novato school.
The teacher was among just two of the school’s 24 staffers who was unvaccinated according to the report.

The outbreak resulted in 27 positive cases in an elementary school of 205 students from prekindergarten through eighth grade, the report said.

Of the 18 students in the class, six of 14 tested positive and the other four were not tested according to the report.
