Woman Found After Going Missing From Novato: Police
Police say the woman was reported missing Wednesday after walking away from family members at a local grocery store.
NOVATO, CA — UPDATED: A woman who went missing in Novato early Wednesday evening was found, police said. As of 7:49 p.m. Wednesday, Maribel Rivas had been found after she walked away from Whole Foods on De Long Avenue.
ORIGINAL POST: Novato police are asking people for help finding a woman who went missing early Wednesday evening, police said. Maribel Rivas walked away from family at Whole Foods on De Long Avenue at 5:15 p.m.
Police describe Rivas as 5 feet tall, 135 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Police said Rivas walks with a cane and was wearing a gray dress and carrying a red purse.
