Energy Efficient Chow Hall Opens in Area 22

The new facility reduces energy costs by 34 percent over the baseline model.

Area 22 opened a new Chow Hall aboard Camp Pendleton, Calif., May 16, 2013. The new facility reduces energy costs by 34 percent over the baseline model, can serve more than 2,000 personnel per meal and was built using recycled materials from past dining facilities.
