Fireworks Show will Mark Oceanside's 125th Anniversary

Editor's note: The following is an announcement from the City of Oceanside. 

The public is invited to the City of Oceanside’s 125th Anniversary Fireworks Show on July 3, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. The fireworks will be deployed just north of the El Corazon Senior Center, located at 3302 Senior Center Drive. Rancho Del Oro Road will be closed just north of Oceanside Boulevard at Seagate, and just south of Mesa Drive at Ocean Ranch Boulevard. This is the recommended viewing site for the Fireworks. Limited parking will be available in the Ocean Ranch Business Park. No parking will be available at the El Corazon Senior Center. See attached map.

Spectators are encouraged to arrive anytime after 6:00 p.m., park in the nearby lots, bring a beach chair, and walk to the viewing area on Rancho Del Oro Road. Food trucks will be

parked on Rancho Del Oro Road and will be selling a wide variety of foods. From 8:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. El Camino High School and Oceanside High School Bands will unite to perform just prior to the Fireworks Show. Fireworks display is scheduled to begin at 9:00 p.m. Please carpool, as parking is limited.

Parking regulations will be in effect for all streets around the perimeter of El Corazon. The El Corazon Senior Center will be closed to the public, as it is the Command Post for the Fireworks Event.
