Temperatures in inland Orange County are expected to reach past 100 degrees this week. Here's where to stay cool in around town.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA —Another sweltering heat wave is headed to Orange County, and residents can expect scorching temperatures across the region.

The National Weather Service issued an Excessive Heat Watch from Wednesday through Friday for all inland Orange County cities.

In inland Orange County, residents can expect temperatures to climb up to 104 by Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.

On the coast, temperatures are expected to increase. Coastal residents can expect temperatures ranging from the high 80s to the high 90s, the NWS reported.

  • Thursday — Mostly sunny, with highs around 96 toward the coast and 101 to 104 farther inland with light winds.
  • Friday — Mostly sunny and hot, with highs around 96 near the coast and 102 to 105 farther inland.
  • Saturday — Partly cloudy in the morning becoming mostly sunny, with highs between 91 and 94 near the coast and 100 degrees farther inland.
