$2M Sculptures Stolen In OC: Suspect Sought
Anaheim police Thursday were investigating the theft of two sculptures valued at a combined $2 million from an office building.
ANAHEIM, CA — Anaheim police Thursday were investigating the theft of two sculptures valued at a combined $2 million from an office building.
The owner of an office space in the 1100 block of N. Richfield Road was remodeling, and the sculptures were placed elsewhere in storage in the building, Anaheim police Sgt. Matt Sutter said.
The work was taken sometime between Saturday and when the art was discovered missing on Monday.

One sculpture is valued at $1.8 million, and the other at $200,000, Sutter said.
Due to their size and weight, police believe the thieves likely used special equipment to remove them.
