7-Foot Waves Possible In Orange County This Weekend: Surf Advisory
The surf advisory comes after a winter storm hit the SoCal region. What to know.
ORANGE COUNTY, CA — Look out, Orange County: high surf is forecasted for the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.
According to the NWS, Orange County residents can expect large breaking waves of four to seven feet on the coast.
The surf advisory is in place from 4 a.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Saturday.

"Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion are possible," an NWS statement read. "Minor flooding is possible in low-lying areas along the beach, such as beach parking lots."
Inexperienced swimmers were urged to stay out of the water due to the dangerous surf conditions.
