- Be careful near swiftly moving water. A man was rescued from the Santa Ana River Sunday morning by Orange County firefighters and the Anaheim Fire Department. - What will happen to the baseball stadium in Anaheim? Baseball fans are wondering about the fate of the stadium as new leaders in Anaheim are considering the approach they'll take to find a new owner. Will the stadium be upgraded? Or will a new owner build a new stadium? Potential billionaire buyers are also considering what "Anaheim’s new City Council would be like as a landlord." No one knows what will happen next. - Celebrate the Christmas season with a dazzling boat parade this week. The countdown has begun to opening night of the 114th Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade, on Wednesday, Dec. 14, at 4 p.m. A fireworks display will be followed by more than 100 boats with "spectacular displays of holiday lights" traveling down a 14-mile parade route.
