Beloved Knott's Berry Farm Rides To Close Permanently
The theme park announced the closures as part of the plan to make room for new rides at Camp Snoopy.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — Three Camp Snoopy rides are shutting down forever, and Knott's Berry Farm fans have just a few weeks to ride them one last time, the theme park announced this week.
Knott's Berry Farm is undertaking the emotionally delicate task of revamping the Camp Snoopy area, a corner of the park that holds a special place in the hearts of families and generations with childhood memories of Camp Snoopy. With the remodel, Huff and Puff, the High Sierra Ferris Wheel, and the Rocky Mountain Trucking Company rides will close forever.
The last day to ride the trio will be Jan. 7, the theme park announced.

"Future Beagle Scouts get ready! New and exciting things are coming to Camp Snoopy in 2024," the theme park announced on Instagram. "To make room for these new additions, we’re giving you a last chance to ride Huff and Puff, the High Sierra Ferris Wheel, and the Rocky Mountain Trucking Company."
The announcement hit some park visitors hard.

"Getting rid of Huff n Puff is like an actual crime against families," one person responded to the Instagram post. "You’re telling me there’s no way to keep that tiny little ride? People love that ride. Generations have brought their kids to that particular ride. Can Knott’s not keep anything anymore? Has to be ripped out and replaced?"
"You guys picked the wrong rides to remove," another person lamented.
Still another replied, "Noooooo!!!! My kid is going to be so sad!"
However, theme park officials hope new Camp Snoopy rides will make up for the loss.
New rides slated to open Memorial Day Weekend will include Snoopy’s Tenderpaw Twister Coaster, Camp Snoopy’s Off-Road Rally, and Sally’s Swing Along.
