Here are the top stories in Orange County today:
- The Orange County Transportation Corridors Agencies chief executive resigned before the results of an investigation into “serious allegations of misconduct” became public. Samuel Johnson became the head of the TCA in 2020 but had been on paid administrative since the investigation began in September. The TCA controls "operates 420 miles of toll roads in Orange County" and has a budget of about $400 million. (Los Angeles Times)
- New renderings of the $400 million Dana Point Harbor renovation project include upgrades to waterfront infrastructure, new shops and restaurants, and two new hotels. In a news release: "'We are thrilled for this long-awaited upgrade to the Harbor’s 1970’s-era facilities,' said Orange County's Fifth District Supervisor Lisa Bartlett." (Urbanize LA)
