Disneyland Star Wars Month: Food, Festivities, What To Know
Fans, don your favorite Star Wars attire and grab your light sabers. It's time to head to Disneyland for Star Wars Month in May, 2023.

ANAHEIM, CA — May is Star Wars Month at Disneyland Resort, and there is no shortage of activities planned to celebrate all things Star Wars both inside the parks and in Downtown Disney.
- The return of Hyperspace Mountain, where guests can hurtle through hyperspace while dodging furious dogfights.
- Star Wars Month food and beverages, such as the Temple Rootleaf and Moss Salad (plant-based version available) and the Darth by Chocolate Parfait.
- In the Downtown Disney District, guests can pose at a photo opportunity inspired by “Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures” and check out additional items at Marceline’s Confectionery, Lovepop, Pandora Jewelry and California Sole.
- Movie nights at the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort featuring favorite Star Wars saga films on select nights in May.

"Disneyland Resort guests can enter into a galaxy far, far away all year long with thrilling attractions, encounters with familiar faces and intergalactic cuisine at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge," they said. Still, during Star Wars Month there is even more in the way of galactic goodies.

Beyond food and the specialized ride changes, as in Hyperspace Mountain at Space Mountain, fans have been known to join forces at Galaxy's Edge.

Whatever side of the force represents you, fans always love seeing the costumed guests with lit light sabers moving through Batuu at night, according to former Disneyland employee and constant Star Wars fan, Bryan Carlson.

"If you see a meet-up of fans dressed in character with or without light sabers, don't hesitate to say hello or ask to hold a lightsaber for a photo," he said.

The meet-ups are not sponsored by Disneyland Resort and are typically planned "through the grapevine," so get involved and ask participants when you see them, if that is up your alley.
