Disney's 'Rogers: The Musical' Opens For Limited Summer Performances
Head to the Hyperion Theater in Disney California Adventure to see the show celebrating Captain America/Steve Rogers.

ANAHEIM, CA — There's a new musical in town, replacing the former "Aladdin" and "Frozen" shows, though it deserves just as much fanfare in this editor's opinion.
The show is slated to run from June 30 through Aug. 31. "Rogers: The Musical" is a live show that premiered Friday at Disneyland resort, at the Hyperion Theater. Part of the Disney 100 celebration, it is an all-new, one-act musical theater production that tells a classic tale of heroes, time travel and romance.

Expect to see Steve Rogers (aka Captain America) along with Peggy Carter, Nick Fury, and multiple Avengers.

The real-life production of “Rogers: The Musical” draws inspiration from the fictional Broadway musical theater sequence featured in the first episode of the Disney+ series “Hawkeye,” according to a park spokesperson.

"This new musical project will come to life through the creativity of Disney Live Entertainment in partnership with book writer Hunter Bell, star and book writer of the Tony Award-nominated“[title of show],” and will feature five all-new songs with music by Grammy-winning composer Christopher Lennertz and lyrics by Jordan Peterson, Christopher Lennertz and Alex Karukas.
