Driver Killed In Single-Vehicle Traffic Crash In OC
A man driving a Ford Mustang was killed and his passenger suffered major injuries when the speeding vehicle struck a curb and flipped over.
ORANGE, CA — A man driving a Ford Mustang was killed and his passenger suffered major injuries when the speeding vehicle struck a curb and flipped on to its roof during a single-vehicle traffic crash in Orange, authorities said Sunday.
The crash occurred about 12:35 p.m. Saturday on Tustin Street, near Bixby Avenue, said Orange Police Department Lt. Phil McMullin.
The Ford Mustang was speeding north on Tustin Street, when the driver lost control near Bixby Avenue and struck the east curb on Tustin Street, McMullin said.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Paramedics rushed his passenger, an unidentified woman, to a trauma center with major injuries.
