  1. A beloved Orange County water polo coach died unexpectedly at 28. The water polo community is mourning the sudden loss of Francisco “Paco” Gonzalez, who died suddenly on Monday. Gonzalez was the head boys' water polo coach and a special education teacher at Tustin High School, and he also coached the North Irvine Water Polo Club. A Go Fund Me page has been created for his family. (Orange County Patch)
  2. Yes, more rain today. The National Weather Service issued a flood watch for Orange County from Wednesday night through Thursday afternoon. A strong Pacific storm is moving through inland California, bringing heavy rainfall and gusty winds. The NWS advised residents to be ready "to take action" and be prepared for flooding. OC Public Works crews piled sandbags in burn scar areas on unincorporated Orange County roads Wednesday. (msnNOW)

  4. An Orange County medical office has a new owner for $80 million. Healthcare Property Advisors is the new owner of Imperial Mariner, "a four-building medical office campus in Brea." Some of the new tenants coming to town are AdelFi, St. Jude Heritage Medical Group, NCH Management, and Emart America. The "Imperial Mariner was 89 percent occupied at the time of the transaction."
